2024 TBS Blues Challenge

Triangle Blues Society (TBS) will hold the 2024 Triangle Blues Challenge on Sunday, October 6, 2024, 1pm at the Blue Note Grill in Durham, NC. 

The TBS Blues Challenge is a local blues competition in two categories – solo/duo and band. Winners earn the right to travel to Memphis, TN, to further compete in the 38th International Blues Challenge (IBC) held January 7-11, 2025. The IBC is sponsored by The Blues Foundation (BF) and consists of winners from affiliate societies worldwide.

Triangle Blues Society (TBS), a 501 (c3) organization, is an all-volunteer non-profit organization working together to support, promote, and grow blues music in the Raleigh-Durham Chapel Hill North Carolina area. TBS has been an affiliate of the Blues Foundation since 1996.

NOTE: We do not take reservations, all seating is first come first served. We recommend arriving 1 hour before showtime with your party to avoid a wait. Due to staffing issues waits and food times may be longer than usual. We appreciate your patience.

Deadline for buying tickets online is 12pm the day of the show.
