The Dagmar Bumpers

The Dagmar Bumpers is a six-piece band out of Durham playing swanky 50’s era rock and roll and boogie woogie.
Hand-picked sets of lesser-known songs representing the best and coolest sounds of the time. With saxaphone, standup bass, keyboards, guitars and vocals, they play at the edge where Swing became Rock, at the very start of Rock and Roll, a mean Boogie Woogie. Their audiences find themselves up on their feet, celebrating the excitement of the time when swing became Rock ‘n Roll.
Darmar Bumpers: Mark Grzyb, Justin Kayce, Ryan Levin, Pat Madison, Kenny Phelps McKeown, Bill Clayforth.
