July 2, 2017  ·  Sunday * 6-9pm * NO Cover

Got the Sunday blues about having to go back to work tomorrow?  Then come on out and help us raise some serious blues. Get your musical “fix” by playing, dancing, or just having a great time. Musicians from all over the Triangle and beyond show up to play.

Our guest hosts this month – The Bush League!

Richmond, VA based THE BUSH LEAGUE was founded in 2007 by vocalist JohnJason “JohnJay” Cecil and bassist Royce Folks. They are joined by guitarist Brad Moss and drummer Wynton Davis. North Mississippi Hill Country Blues is the primary influence of THE BUSH LEAGUE which they combine with rock, soul, funk, and gospel to create “RVA Blues”. “RVA Blues” has been heard from NYC all the way down to the Gulf of Mexico! THE BUSH LEAGUE’s latest CD “Didn’t See This Coming” was released in May 2015 to positive reviews and was placed into Grammy consideration for Best Blues Album.

So come on out and enjoy some blues, eat some great food, support the Triangle Blues Society (TBS), meet some new friends or just hang out with some old ones … and have a great time!
