“Reverend” Sam Stephens, guitar and vocals. Sam has been performing live music for over four decades, working with and fronting many acts including Nightwatch, The Edgetones and the Swamp Doctors, opening for and sharing the stage with national and international acts including Cheap Trick, Head East, Uriah Heap and Tab Benoit. Influences run from Robert Johnson to Pink Floyd and Gov’t Mule. His original music is rooted in blues, country and rock. During downtime, Sam enjoys fishing and spending time with his wife and best friend Gina.

Joel Sugarman, bass; a well traveled veteran of musical styles and locations, Joel honed his craft over the years while living in metro NY, Athens, GA and for the last 25 plus years in RDU. He’s been learning new licks on the job for over 40 years with such luminaries as Randall Bramblett (Sea Level, Gregg Allman, Steve Winwood), Steve Davidowski (Dixie Dregs), guitar legend Cool John Ferguson and ex-Bonnie Raitt/Muscle Shoals guitarist Will McFarlane, to name a few.  His knack for finding the “pocket” with his drummer, along with his low end groove, keeps the dance floor a busy place. Sugarman has been laying the bottom down with numerous Triangle area bands for many years.

Mark Lunsford, drums. Has been playing drums for 44 years, started at 8 playing in church, and still plays in church. His influences include Gospel, R&B, Soul,Country and some rock. A self-taught drummer, Mark developed his style from playing music like Journey, Toto, Sting, Phil Collins etc. He moved to Nashville in the early 90’s and played with various country acts and Christian artists. Born in Charlotte NC, Mark now resides in Raleigh.

Drew Questell, guitar and vocals. A Raleigh native, Drew has been part of the Triangle music scene since 2004. He is a graduate of the Appalachian State University Hayes School of Music with concentrations in Jazz and Classical Guitar studies. His musical influences span from Rock, Jazz and Blues to Contemporary Fusion, Country and Classical. A brief residency in Nashville, Tennessee afforded him opportunities to collaborate with some of the most respected artists in the music industry.
