FFAF: Chuck Cotton’s House of Dues

December 9, 2016  ·  Friday * 9pm * No Cover

It’s FFAF (Free for All Friday) and we’ve got Chuck Cotton in the house … with The House of Dues no less.  The House of Dues got their start at a Mardi Gras gig about 2 years ago. Since then they have been a powerhouse blues and funk band for the Greensboro music scene. In January 2012, the band won the Piedmont Triad Blues Competition and went to Memphis, TN to compete in the International Blues Competition.

The House of Dues first recording entitled “Gimme Some Hotcakes” started as a demo of classic blues songs, and evolved into a recording to introduce the band. Their first original recording, “Cross That Line” was released in the fall of 2013, and is available on all major outlets.
