February 16, 2021  ·  Tuesday * 4-6:30pm * NO Cover

Join us on the patio for some Cajun fun with The Cajammers! Celebrate in the sun and enjoy our Gumbo Special $6.99!

The Cajammers are a Durham-based band that plays a highly danceable mix of Cajun, Zydeco, and swamp pop. Formed in 2012, the band features a trio of female fiddlers, so you’ll hear some beautiful harmonies set to Cajun waltzes, two steps, zydeco, blues, and other Louisiana-inspired tunes, including songs in Cajun French. This energetic group will keep your toes tapping from beginning to end, and your smiles will be ear to ear!

The band has been featured at Durham’s The Pit and in Gloucester, NC for Mardi Gras as well as Durham’s Beer and Banjos. They frequently play at the Monkey Bottom, Blue Note Grill, Cat’s Cradle, Kraken, Yonder, Ted’s Live in Wilmington, NC and at Fries in Charlottesville, VA.

Members: Dianne Freund (fiddle), Heather Henry (fiddle), Christine Westfall (fiddle), Cathy Pratt Davis (Cajun accordion), Tony Matthews (bass), Joe Galas (keyboard), Elvis Latiolais (guitar), and Greg Clark (percussion.)

We’ll have the musicians set up facing the parking lot. Our picnic tables are properly spaced 6′ apart. We’ve added a few more tables on the edge of the Beer Garden, and have 3 tables available under the trestle. There is also standing space between the trestle and the beer garden.

Please follow the 6 foot rule and wear your mask.
