FFAF:  Big Bertha bringing blues from Fayetteville, NC!

Big Bertha shocked the Southeast music scene in the mid ‘90’s winning the Triangle Blues Society and Lowcountry Blues Bash talent showcases. They went on to record a critically acclaimed CD, What Color Is Your Mind, which combined what one writer described as, “Muscular Blues Rock and Funk salted with a touch of Jazz”. Hitting the road, Big Bertha shared the concert bill with such artists as Bobby “Blue” Bland, Kenny Neal, Jr. Wells and eventually with Jimmy Buffet, Little Feat, Parliament Funkadelic, Cypress Hill, The Marshall Tucker Band and the list goes on.

The band touts the solid rhythm section of Puncho Forrest on base and Brian Dougherty on Drums, the horn of  National Smooth Jazz recording artist Willie Bradly and one of North Carolina’s favorite guitarists, Robbie Reid.

These guys have come back together over the last couple years to play limited shows to sellout crowds across North Carolina. This is not a show to be missed!
